1. The product
Flexnote is a local-first visual note-taking application. The website is myflexnote.com. You place cards on an infinite canvas, connect them with bidirectional links, and annotate PDFs, video, and audio on the same board.
2. Who it is for
Flexnote is for individual study and research: reading, lectures, and projects that run for a long time. It is not a real-time whiteboard for teams.
3. Data
Notes are stored primarily on your device. Sync is off unless you turn it on. If you do, you choose the service — Baidu Netdisk, OneDrive, S3, or WebDAV — and you keep the credentials. You can also publish a board as a link.

4. Platforms and plans
Flexnote is available for Windows, macOS, Android, and the web. An iOS app is in development.
